Owl City – Ocean Eyes commentary

Upbeat lyrics make Owl City light-hearted and a joy to listen to. Every song on their new album Ocean Eyes is impossible to stop listening to and their electronic genre provides plenty of beats easy to groove to.

Adam Young, a self proclaimed insomniac, has mixed feeling perfectly into his songs, although they all seem to blend together and become rather unidentifiable from each other due to his repetitious style after awhile. I don’t usually tend to be a fan of the Electronic genre, but something about Young’s style with it’s roots in the nights spent in his Owatonna, Minnesota basement proves to be new and fresh. He seems to understand the feelings of love and complete happiness which he has blended into his lyrics.

While his music may be too lacking of substance for some, he has succeeded in combining intoxicating happy lyrics with an upbeat mood that won’t leave you disappointed upon your first listen.

$$$? Not so much.

Skip the intro!  I just want to download Fizix Pointgainer!

Dietzel, a GPT site manager, “strives to treat every customer equally” (claimed on their website), which I can only assume to mean “like crap.” I once encouraged the use of their sites, mainly due to their referral program which gave benefits for referring friends. Unfortunately, I apparently violated their terms of use, causing them to drop me as a customer without a second thought. I’ve made well over $100 in points with them, some of which I’d redeemed in the form of prizes, while the remaining $70 or so I left in my accounts for a larger prize. I never obtained this prize however, as I received six emails one morning, one from each of their sites I was signed up with saying my account was “banned,” with no explanation whatsoever provided.

After using my one support ticket allowed with a banned account explaining my dislike of their treatment of their customers and my point of view carefully crafted in the hopes they would hear me out, Daniel Budd, their oh so courteous staff member gave me the following reply in regards to the empetious behind my account banning:

Repeating Pharama Offers on our site and other sites with false and fake information.

Well that’s slightly helpful at least, but this was the last reason I suspected. First of all, I had used Fizix’s Pointgainer, which I suspected they had somehow found a way of detecting. Second, I suspected that they had found this website with the prevous post (removed) regarding the program and my referral links being posted together and decided they didn’t like me advertising the firefox addon to the world. Somehow the addon has mysteriously disappeared from all the other websites previously hosting it.

When I went to reply to Daniel Budd’s reply, I found he had permanently closed the support ticket, basically closing my Gaming Lagoon account’s functionally forever. Luckily (or unluckily) I also had a Cash Lagoon account which I used to submit my reply. How lovely. I received the exact same response to an entirely different question, and from the same staff member, Daniel Budd. I originally asked why I was banned, and the second time I explained that the ban was not justified as I had no idea the incorrect information was being submitted. Apparently Dietzel doesn’t even bother to read their user’s support questions before randomly answering them. “All clients whether free or paid must receive by every one of our staff members” my ass. They can’t even spell correctly.

The original post I made recommending these sites was deleted in my desperate attempt to cover the evidence before submitting my plea to Dietzel, assuming they had indeed seen this blog. They obviously hadn’t, but that was after I had already deleted the post and the Fizix Pointgainer link. Well, I now have no ties to Dietzel as they both apparently don’t value their customers and don’t offer phone support so I can actually talk to someone other than Mr. Budd.

So here’s my revenge against Dietzel:a link for fizix pointgainer for those who already have accounts, a slap in the face for Dietzel, and a warning against joining their sites for the people that are considering.

Install the wonderful Fizix Pointgainer

Oh, and if you reconsider my ban, Dietzel, here’s a list of my referral links with which I’m sure you can re-enable my accounts, and I’ll be happy to revoke my negative comments about your service:

Here’s my original post over their service, which is now outdated:

I’ll just let you know in the first sentence that these types of sites won’t make you rich, but you can earn an extra video game or a stupid gag to fool your friends, or some other small stuff. Sign up using real information and then click an “offer” in the list. This will take you to another page where there is a long list of advertisements. These can be either skipped manually, or skipped automatically using something like Fizix’s Pointgainer (if you use it, DON’T update if Firefox prompts you – you can click the link to download the Firefox add-on). You’ll get the hang of it after awhile, and if you don’t, comment and I’ll help.

Here’s a list of sites that offer free cash you can redeem as gift cards, games, amazon credit, or anything else (in recommended order):

*referral links listed*

UPDATE: I called Dietzel and spoke with an operator who said the same thing and told me they don’t reverse changes for accounts repeating offers. I was prepared to delete this post, but I didn’t get my accounts reinstated, so this post stays.
